Senders
Finding the right sender to match your instruments can be a difficult challenge, but our product lines are so diverse that you are virtually guaranteed to be able to find the correct unit for your application.
Most senders operate on “variable resistance technology” or VRT. This simply means that the amount of electricity flowing from the instrument to the sender changes based upon the condition (pressure, temperature, etc) of what is being measured. This change in electric flow is what influences the instrument to read correctly. For more detailed information about senders, how they work, or how to match them to an instrument please see our “How To” video of Sender basics at the bottom of this page.
